Nothing could match the joy of an article like this getting published at the exact same time (9:42 am) during the 10th anniversary of the first iPhone launch. Yes! it was on the 29th of July 2007, at 9:42 am that Steve Jobs, the then CEO of Apple Inc. unveiled the first ever iPhone to the world. According to Jobs, it was a three in one combo offer “a revolutionary mobile phone, a widescreen iPod with touch controls and a breakthrough Internet communications device”, this is what he said during the launch. So on this very day let us look at some of the interesting facts about the first iPhone and where it is today.

Why is it ‘i’Phone and not a regular mobile phone?
The peculiarity in the name as it suggests, iPhone is a ‘my phone’ in every possible way to the customer owning it by highlighting the individuality of the user. Apple Inc. is still topping the list of most valuable companies in the whole world, the soul reason being the iPhone. It changed it’s business upside down. iPhones are the most revenue generating product of the company. iPhones with its high-quality cameras and value added features took photography to a whole new level by helping people have professional clicks with superior quality.
